PRODUCTION OPS ADMINISTRATOR
Description:
Alltech
International is supporting the Infrastructure Shared Services (ISS)
program, which is responsible for building and delivering an
infrastructure that is scalable, interoperable, flexible, manageable,
and features standardized operations and a single security and
enterprise systems management framework. This infrastructure will
enable IRS to deploy modernized business systems and integrate with the
current processing environment to support data access, web based service
delivery for taxpayers, third parties, and internal users, and do so in
a fully secure and optimally managed operational environment.
The ISS program is
responsible for providing technical guidance and direction to projects
with a level of support services that will enable the projects to use
the common, integrated, and shared infrastructure. The ISS program’s
goal is to deliver an enterprise approach for a fully integrated shared
information technology infrastructure to include hardware, software,
shared modernization applications and data, telecommunications, security
and enterprise approach to systems and operations management, and an
enterprise approach to software development and testing.
Duties:
Act as one of the
production deployment coordinators who will ensure that the final
software build to the production environment is successful. Some
shared on-call and off-shift responsibility is expected. Must have
demonstrated the ability to write clear and concise semi-technical
communications and documentation. Must be able to work with a minimum
amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment. Must have
demonstrated experience with handling multiple tasks with a high degree
of detail. Must possess very strong organizational skills and have the
ability to accomplish operational process improvements. Works with users
to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
Position requires detailed knowledge of the employer’s business
objectives. Prepare project time and resource estimates. Lead pre- and
post-implementation coordination activities. Be able to provide QA
support to the developers, the CM process and the IBM Tivoli Package
Build process. Consults with user management and technical staff as
necessary to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes,
and determine required coding. Prescribes standards to simplify
interpretations of programs and documentation.
