WEBSPHERE PORTAL ARCHITECT

Description

Recent hands-on experience with WebSphere Portal 6.x including experience with Portlet Factory tool.  Client experience related to interfacing with enterprise security for identity and access management.  Experience developing themes and dynamic portal navigation including menus and sub-menus. 

Duties

• Provide WebSphere Portal skills

• Provide Service Model consulting

• Update the Architecture Model Contractual Language

• Create the Standards and Skills Catalog

• Provide design teaming services to development teams

• Provide peer review services to development teams

• Expertise in WP 6 hands-on development including custom themes development.

• Knowledge of personalization framework, page and portlets visibility framework, WebSphere Portlet Factory

• Demonstrated skills in portal development, interfacing with LDAP and other registry mechanisms

Required

• General Architectural Experience:  Governance, assessment, work products - Systems Context, Arch Overview, Component Models

• Technical Experience:  Platforms (Z/OS, Unix), Databases (Oracle, DB2), Languages (Java), Messaging (MQ)

• Rational Hands-on Tool Experience:  RSA/RAD, Req Pro, Modeler, RUP, Rose/XDE, Eclipse

• Communication:  Oral and Written skills
