EARNED VALUE MANAGEMENT (EVM) SPECIALIST
The end users Small
Business/Self Employed (SB/SE) business operating division (BOD)
organization has engaged our client and Alltech to assist them in the
development and implementation of SB/SE's Examination Desktop Support
System (EDSS). The project goal is to develop a modernized, automated,
web-based system within SB/SE that will increase the productivity and
efficiency of the end users agents, officers, managers, and executives.
The "to-be" examination system (EDSS) will provide enhanced data
extraction, improved access to information, elimination of duplicate
data entry into multiple systems and case data sharing. The project
consists of a Project Management Operations (PMO) team, Requirements
Definition Team, a Development Team, an integrated product team, and the
end users management team.
Our client's team
currently provides Project Management Operations (PMO), Requirements
Definition Team, and Systems Engineering support to the EDSS project.
Recently our client's team was asked to lead the development of the
compliance system's architecture and design. This work would include
the assessment of current project documentation and development the
system architecture to include the conceptual and logical architectures
plus the related data models (conceptual, logical, and physical).
Candidate will be
expected to perform Earned Value Management (EVM) for a $5.2M software
development project adhering to IAW ANSI 748 and the end users
standards. Furthermore, this individual serves as the lead individual
in the execution of the project's Earned Value Management program. The
responsibilities include development of the project's Earned Value
Management program, developing monthly earned valued management reports,
assisting the PMO with tracking the project schedule, working with the
end users on earned value and scheduling matters, and other duties as
assigned.
Required:

Successfully
implemented an Earned Value Management program on a software
development project

Demonstrated
experience in the development of earned value charts and ANSI 748
-
Demonstrated
experience in Project Management Operations (PMO) tasks

Demonstrated
experience as an Earned Value Manager
-
Thorough
understanding of ANSI 748 Standards
-
Strong written
and oral communications skills - ability to interact with SB/SE
Senior team members with confidence and professionalism

Minimum of six
(6) years of experience in the field of Earned Value and Project
Management Operations

Must possess the
ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines yet remain
flexible in responding to changing requirements

Must be a
self-starter, able to stay in sync with project activities and
decisions, yet capable of working with limited direction.

All candidates
must be willing to undergo and pass a Minimum Background
Investigation so that departmental base-line clearances can be
issued as needed.
