DEVELOPER
The developer will
develop stored procedures, design databases and create tables in SQL
Server 2005. The developer will also write middle-tier programs in
Visual Basic or Visual C# to connect to various databases and implement
business rules. This position will be part of the in-house effort to
build an alert system for revenue mangers. The developer will be
responsible for designing, developing and implementing a nightly batch,
which will run against Real time PNR, Real time inventory and various
other company databases as well as run through the business rules
developed by the revenue management group. This position will work in a
dynamic team to implement complex business logic in a three tier
application, while building a reusable framework for future
applications.
Required:
-
Minimum of five (5)
years experience in developing middle tier application and software
development

Minimum of three
(3) years of experience in .Net
-
Minimum of five (5)
years of experience in programming in Visual C# .Net Visual Basic
.Net, Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, PL/SQL
-
Strong
interpersonal/interface skills across functional groups
-
Bachelor’s degree
Computer Science or equivalent quantitative field
Extensive knowledge of
MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, SQL, Visual Basic, .Net, ADO.net, web
services, Visual Studio 2005.
Good experience in
application design using Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and
Object Oriented Methodologies.
