Developer - PL/SQL & FORMS
Description:
Strong Oracle Developer with an extensive background in PL/SQL and
Oracle Forms. Formulates/defines system scope and objectives for
assigned projects. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex
problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations,
operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed
specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for
program design, coding, testing, debugging, and system documentation.
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems
analysis and programming. Possesses good understanding of the business
or function for which the system is designed. Also has duties
instructing, directing, and checking the work of other systems analyst
and programming personnel. Responsible for quality assurance review and
for directing and monitoring the work of team members. May be
responsible for project completion and user satisfaction.
Actual Duties:
-
Responsible for developing web based user interfaces to
multiple budget information systems using the Oracle Developer Suite
(Forms version 10g)

Responsible for coding and maintaining PL/SQL package,
procedure, and function constructs to support the functionality
behind numerous Budget Information Systems
-
Will be expected to meet with the client on a one-on-one or
small group setting to capture and to document system requirements
-
Will be expected to conduct comprehensive unit and system
integration tests of all new and maintained source code
-
The individual may be expected to conduct training sessions
in order to demonstrate application functionality to the client
Required:
-
5-7 years Oracle Developer experience including experience in
Oracle 10g
-
US Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret
clearance
-
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Sciences or related
field
-
3-5 years PL/SQL and Oracle Forms
-
Strong programming/computer science background
-
Independent worker but good in a team environment
-
Small team, regular interaction with the client
-
Fast-paced environment
-
Oracle Forms versions 10g - 6i, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle
